Okonomiyaki is where it all began for us.

The Japanese specialty is a crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside savoury pancake with an ever-growing list of toppings. The flavours of batter, cabbage, spring onion, Japanese BBQ sauce, pickled ginger and mayonnaise serve as a base for the chef’s imagination.

Delicious, flexible, surprising – we fell in love with the dish and in December of 2015 began our Okonomiyaki market stall journey. The reception was humbling as customers returned with high praise, culminating in Okonomiyaki’s success at OzAsia Festival and WOMADelaide. in 2017.
